Bishoujo Slayers Muyo
Part Two
"What's happening!?" Lina questioned as the bandits flew far away, "The Mega Brand should be finished by now!"
Zelgadiss leaned forward, feeling something very unusual. Finally, as the cloud of dust parted, in the crater, were several strangely clothed individuals.
"What the..." was all Lina could say.
"I didn't know the Mega Brand created people!" Amelia peered over the crater's edge.
"Okay, who snuck in and got themselves fried!?" Lina marched up beside Amelia.
Gourry leapt up and ran to the hole in the ground while Zelgadiss casually strode over.
"Uhh..." Ryoko groaned and painfully pulled herself halfway over the crater's edge, then gave up.
"Ah!" Amelia shrieked, "What's that!?" she hid behind Lina, pointing at the passed out Ryoko.
"Hey..." Gourry had a stick in his hand, crouched next to Ryoko, "Hey..." he repeated and poked her with the stick a few times.
Ryoko looked up and saw a distorted image of Gourry, "What are you," she stated bluntly.
"Um...a human?" Gourry sat, stick in hand.
"Uhh..." Ryoko tried to stand up, only to fall backwards into the crater, collapsing onto Ayeka and Mihoshi.
"Hey you! What do you think you're doing!?" Ayeka protested, struggling under Ryoko's body.
Mihoshi was still dazed and Washu was standing up, dusting off her clothes. Tenchi rubbed his head and saw that they were not alone in the crater. In a pile, on the other side lay the Senshi, back in civilian form. Usagi was sprawled on top of Luna, Artemis, and Makoto. Rei hauled Usagi to her feet, freeing Makoto and the stunned cats.
Sasami, with Ryo-oh-ki on her head had already climbed out of the crater and sat down to wait.
"Where'd  you all come from?" Lina stared at them.
Usagi reached up and grabbed onto the ledge...or at least she thought.
"A-hem," Zelgadiss glared down at her, "That's my foot," he shook Usagi off, throwing her back down onto Rei and Minako.
"Get off!" Rei yelled, shoving Usagi fully onto Minako.
"Oww!" Minako groaned, rolling the dumbfounded Usagi onto the ground.
Chibi-usa found herself out of the hole and sitting next to Sasami, "Hi!"
    "Hello," Sasami returned the greeting.
Ryo-oh-ki jumped off Sasami's head and made her way to Chibi-usa, "Meow!" she smiled.
    "Aww! That's cute!" Chibi-usa pet her, "What's it's name?"
"Her name is Ryo-oh-ki, she's a space ship."
Chibi-usa looked at Sasami, momentarily confused, but decided to take it as a joke, "My name's Chibi-usa!" she held out her hand.
"I'm Sasami, nice to meet you," they shook hands.
By the time the two girls were aquatinted, the rest of the visitors had finally emerged from Lina's crater. Wasting no time, Tenchi stomped over to Washu, "Washu! What's going on!? Where are we?" Behind him, everyone else had gathered to hear the explanation.
Washu looked around, "Well, it looks like we're somewhere in medieval times...so we've apparently traveled through time."
"How did this happen?" Ami poked her head though the crowd.
"I need to have access to my computer. It will take a few minutes," she held her hands out in front of her and nothing happened, " Oh yeah, my computer doesn't exist yet!"
    Everyone fell over.
    "WASHU!" Ryoko snarled.
"I can't do anything without the proper materials!" Washu leaned away.
Ami shoved through Ayeka and Mihoshi, "Maybe this will help?" She pulled out her mini-computer and handed it to Washu.
Instantly, Washu had her back turned and was deeply entranced in her new research.
Ami grew a sweat drop, "Glad I could help..."
Luna and Artemis were slung over each of Minako's shoulders.
"I don't know what to do," Luna meowed.
"We've never had to deal with something like this before...time travel? How can we get back? Was Bura destroyed?" Artemis continued.
"Don't worry about it, Artemis," Minako put the cats down, "It seems as if this 'Washu' knows what she's doing...gotta wonder about her hairstyle tho'..."
Ayeka, Makoto, and Rei were talking about where they were from. Ayeka, the Misaki shrine, Rei and Makoto, Tokyo. Washu stood up. Ami's computer had some new features: A new, extra wide screen and it floated in the air. Ami nearly fainted, "What did you do to my computer...?"
"Good news and bad news, folks," Washu said informatively, "We can't get back unless we are in possession of certain factors. These factors, or artifacts, are extremely rare and I don't know where they would be in this time period. Bad news is that if we stay here too long, our bodies will begin to dissolve. Right now, we have a protective time bubble around us, but it will only last maybe seven days."
"A time bubble?" Tenchi opened the front of his jacket and pulled out his cel phone, "Maybe I can call Grandpa and ask him if the galaxy police could help us. Mihoshi doesn't seem to be doing anything..."
Lina stared at the device in interest. Tenchi held it to his ear, "Not even static..." He turned it over, "And I just charged the batteries."
Lina snatched it right out of his hand and began to study it, "What's this!?"
"Hey! Be careful! That was a gift from Dad!" Tenchi unsuccessfully attempted to retrieve the item.
Lina bashed it against a rock a few times, then satisfied it was useless, tossed it back to Tenchi.
    "YAHG!" Tenchi inspected the damage.
"There goes the cellular..." Makoto said.
"And I thought this 'time bubble' might still connect us to our proper time..." Tenchi delicately placed the phone back in his pocket, sobbing.
Gourry stepped up, "I don't mean to interrupt, but we were going to camp here, weren't we?"
"Yeah," Lina recalled, "We'd better pick up the pace tomorrow and make it to the next town if we're going to stick tko the schedule."
"But what about us!?" Ayeka fumed.
"You? You're not our concern," Lina mused, "We have nothing to gain by helping you."
A sweat drop appeared over Gourry's and Amelia's heads.
Washu leaned over to Amelia, "Hey...what's the currency in this time?"
    "Current whatsis?" she blinked twice.
"Money! What do you use to pay for things!?" Washu whispered a little louder while Lina refused all pleas for assistance.
"Uh...bronze, silver, and gold?" Amelia provided, not quite catching on to Washu's plan.
"Fair enough," Washu raised her hand.
Ami's computer displayed the picture of a red crab on the screen and beside it opened a black hole in the air, out of which a brown bag fell out. Washu caught it and strode over to Lina.
"How 'bout an offer of three hundred gold pieces for your aid?"
Lina's face lit up, "Now you're talking!" Then she grew serious again, "That doesn't include meals. I'll help you, but promise to get lost in five days and pay for our meals, on top of the three hundred, deal?"
"You don't know what you're getting yourself into..." Zelgadiss shuddered, thinking of Lina and Gourry's food bill.
    Washu grinned demonically, "No."
Everyone from the present said in unison, "WHAT!?"
Washu grinned, "Just kidding! Sure, we've got a deal," she handed Lina the bag of gold.
They were the only ones left standing as everyone else crashed into the ground.
