"Waiter! I want this, this, this, and this," Lina
pointed to several items on the menu, "Oh, and a couple of these, and some
of those on the side...oh and how could I pass up one of those, oh make
it two!"
"Can I have some more tea over here, please?" Zelgadiss
yelled from the back.
"Aw, there's rice on my shirt and it's crusty and
sticky and EWW!!" Amelia picked the grunk off the front of her shirt.
"I have a bib if you want," Gourry offered the thing
to Amelia.
"Hm. No, thank you, that's fine..." Amelia blocked
Gourry from view with her hands.
Gourry shrugged and stuffed it back into his pocket.
The short, stubby waiter smiled ominously, watching the feeding frenzy.
A bell dinged in the kitchen and the cloaked waiter rushed in and returned
carrying a mass of dishes that looked impossible for a being that size
to carry. He placed the plates onto the table, enough for a small army
to consume. Sliding the tea in front of Zelgadiss, the waiter then scuttled
back a few feet and grinned.
"You have my permission to leave, now," Lina said,
waving to the waiter after inserting a large brown thing into her mouth.
"Yes, I do, don't I," the waiter smirked, turned
and entered the kitchen.
"Does this taste weird to anyone else but me?" Amelia
chewed thoughtfully.
Gourry nodded and shoved some more chicken into
the black hole.
"Mm," Lina swallowed.
Tsuzuku...
